(minor spoilers) So I'm doing a mission for the Legion that requires me to go to Vault 34. I go through the entire thing, kill every ghoul in the way. I get back out, head back to the legion and I'm given 2 options for Ceaser. So I pull a quick save and do option 1, then go to load for option 2 and my game crashes. I reboot to find out my last 5-7 saves ALL make my game crash upon loading. I had to load back to before I had ever entered vault 34. In other words, your bugs just lost me 4 hours of my life. Do the customers a favor and at least make sure we can save without problems before releasing a massive, time consuming game like this.

I don't even know if I want to continue at this point since Vault 34 was for my main questline and I have no assurance that this problem won't happen again after I choose to do it again. Very disappointing, major roadblock in my experience.

No one has come up with any fixes for these corrupted files? Or the possible source of the corruption? Any word from the devs? Being stuck on the main storyline with a corrupted file is very frustrating.

My saves also got corrupted but in Vault 3, but i do have a save 1 hour pre-vault.

I'm going to try to pinpoint the exact spot that mine got corrupted. Also mine occured in Vault 34, not vault 3. Vault 3 I completed just fine. The weird thing about this problem is, it seems ppl get their saves corrupted at different points. I have seen a lot about Vault 3 though, and in my case it was another Vault...

My conclusion.

Fix Vaults, Bethesda.

It's been 4 days of me being unable to play the game. This almost seems illegal.

Same but, all my saves are corrupted after the Come Fly With Me quest. Thought they must be hard at work over the weekend ..guess not.

Just want to say that I got out of Vault 34 after plundering it, went to load a save file after doing something and my file is corrupted.
This is now the 2nd time I've had save files corrupted, first time being the Come Fly With Me quest, and this time there is no chance in hell that I am going to go back in vault 34 without word that is safe to do so without getting my file corrupted again.

That place is a damn hell hole and having to do it more than once makes my skin crawl.

I've done my best to replicate the issue and all I can figure out is it's at the end of the zone. Somewhere in the armory.

Please, please fix this issue soon Bethesda. I legitimately paid for this game, when it would've been sooooooooo easy to pirate, and this is the kind of result I get? With how easy it is to steal games nowadays, don't you think customer support would be a top priority? Seriously, fix this or you'll lose a customer, and I've been buying them since Daggerfall.

Every save made after exiting Vault 3 and Fiend ruins becomes corrupted.

I have the same issue on the 360, preventing me from finishing i could make you care and et tumor, brute. Also the save I have at the very entrance of the vault crashes on the loading screen.

This is a terrible game breaking bug.

All this savegame corruption in different areas of the game... the cause could be anything at this point. I think the only way the devs can fix this if they have an affected savegame to anolyse.

I got corrupted saves after my game froze on loading screen, I was heading to Cass.
Since then, I had another freez and then guess what? The save i was using, got [censored] up. The "funny" thing is that I can still load it, but my char is in the middle of the starting town with no quests, no items and level 1...

I am really disappointed, now I am afraid to play. I have put 32 hours and haven't been yet to casinos. I don't want to restart the game.
Do something Bethesda or Obsidian, we put many thoughts and time in our characters, so it's very frustrating to lose them. :facepalm: :banghead: :brokencomputer:

Same problem for me. I'm on the "Still in the dark" quest and after hunting down air filtration in Vault 3, 22, and 11. My saves become corrupt after leaving Vault 3 (I think) no matter how long I play (like 3 hours wasted) all my saves (auto, quick and manual) become unloadable and the game crashes.

Had a similar problem when I visited Vault 22 on another quest, but then i just did'nt save "in that region" and I could go on playing like normal. This doesnt seems to be the case for the above^^

I wonder if I was to complete the quest via console and then save, if this could help.

So I loaded to the point where it was still possible (before entering the vaults) and wrote a command in the console to set the quest as finished. I will no longer set my foot in Vault 3 och 22

Shouldn't have to write in a command to finish a quest for a game that cost $50+. This is the type of stuff that should have been discovered in QA. There's just no excuse for random, corrupted, save files. Especially in a game like this.

As I stated in another thread all my saves after 18 hours won't load, just CTD. I was in Freeside doing the Kings quests so it does not seem to be place or quest oriented perhaps it is a level or perk problem??
