How do I save her?

On "birds of a feather"..how do I save her??? I don't want my companion to die! There has to be a way!

Wow really...ugh that svcks!! ...but wouldn't the quest fail?? The guide says I can save her for infamy with them...then I have more to that quest after that...a escort job. This stinks. :facepalm:
