2 Questions About FO:NV

Post » Sat Feb 19, 2011 7:28 am

Hey guys, HUGE really devoted fan here with two questions I'm hoping folks could answer.

***SPOILER FO3****
1. In FO3 we learn that the BOS originally from the west coast has sent an expedition team to DC to collect and gather technology, however we also learn that during this expedition the leader of the team has a falling out with many of the BOS members, causing a rift and therefore creating the " BOS:Outcasts". My question is do we know yet if word has gotten back to the West Coast about the events in FO3 and the whole "Outcasts" situation? Will this story line get more light? Has it already been concluded & I completely missed it..LOL?

2. Will the new game be as in depth & as long as FO3 or is it geared to be a shorter game with a smaller map?

Since the original BOS has already cut communication with Lyons because of what he's doing, I would think it has.

From what we know the game map is about the same size as Fallout 3's map (maybe slightly smaller). We can't say anything about content until the game is released, but it looks like it'll at least have the same amount. They have been working on it for two years.

Answers in bold.

Can't answer number one, but as for two: The map will be the same size, however, there will be more content. It will probably be longer, and with all the additions, probably more in-depth.

Edit: Damn ninjas.

1. We don't know.
2. From the sound of it, it will be about as long if not longer than F3 (more quests and similiarly sized world); and it definitely has more depth.

1- probably not. it is unlikely the information would travel all the way to the west coast.
actually it is know since fallout 1 that the BOS originated in the west. they dont play a major part in the story of this game so this will probably not be elaborated on

2- actually it will be a longer game. more sidequests. Probably a longer storyline. and a slightly larger map

1. No, news travels slowly in the Fallout Universe.

2. The map is about the same size, but there are a lot more locations than FO3, and more quests.

EDIT: Damn ninja's are getting quicker :ninja:

Hah, everybody else contradicted my answer to #1. Why would news travel slower? Long-range communication is obviously still prevalent. Eden was able to contact Autumn, and the Enclave over at AAFB were able to communicate with that outpost in Fallout 3 alone.
