Hi everyone,

my lovely girlfriend bought me Fallout NV 3 days ago and since then I have been playing this game.... so far as you can call it playable.

Now, ignoring all the bugs and glitches, misspellings in the NPC Dialogs, errors in the translation ( I got the German version of the game), misfunctions in the game, crashes and so on and so on......, I got a "serious" problem with my companions.

so far I have E-DE and Cass in my group. Now I want to exchange Cass with Boone, who I just found but I cant. The Companion Wheel offers me to give Cass the Order to wait. When I then ask Boon to join, he just says "IF there is some space for me".
Now how do I kick Cass and exchange her with Boon. I have checked the manual... it is just crap, I read in the Net and I also started a search here on the forums which didnt work. I mean it didnt work technically I really got a message I would have to wait 300 secs for another search.. not having produced any results )))

Is anyone out there who can tell me how to exchange my companions ?


Personal Opinion about the game:
If Bethesda and Obsidion dont do something really quick about all the bugs, this game will go down in no time. It is so crappy so buggy its almost unbelievable. And to be honest. If I would do my job like they do I would have been fired ages ago.
And what bothers me most?.. I got this game on a DVD as most of you have but since we gotta use Steam to activate the game and download it I ask my self why do I have this bloody DVD? and what is worst... Why do we need Steam.. Steam is crap , too. What happens if Steam goes down ? Can I toss my DVDs then ? Man Gamedevelopers should get away from Steam. Do it the oldschool way.. Sell the game and release patches. The games on DVD with a proper installer and the patch via I-Net.

You can only have one human and one robotic companion at a time so if you want to swap them out you have to dismiss your current companion who will either return to where you found them or return to your room if you have one. You can always swap them back again later. Choose the option in the companion wheel to talk to Cass and then tell her you have to part ways for now or whatever it is.

So back again,

I "played" arround with some of the settings of the game and after a while I got the dialog option where I can tell my companions to leave the team, so this one is sorted. Dont really know why I didnt have this options before and I dont know how exactly I solved it. But now it works and so far I am a bit happier now. If the rest of the bugs will be solved I will even be a bit more happy. If not I will give the game back to the store because it wont be worth having it.
