» Sat Feb 19, 2011 11:21 am I have been waiting since i got the game for a proper playthrough and i am still waiting. I never joined a forum before this and i only joined so i could express my anger at the mess that is FNV.
Through the weeks i have posted topics in different forums, some good and some bad. As soon as i started getting into the game a bug would end it all. I know there is a great game here but i just cant
get to play it. To come up with great ideas only to screw it all up with rookie mistakes is hard for me to take when most other games this season are completley playable. Why isnt FNV?
Is it because Bethesda rushed Obsidian, is it because Bethesda didnt help out enough with development cos they were more interested in their new games out next year, or is it because all along there was a gap in the game waiting for the DLC on xbox at xmas and later on other formats. WHO GIVES A FLYING [censored]!
Bottom line is aside from these bugs/errors/ROOKIE mistakes we should at the very least been given a small bit of respect and kept up to date on the progress of the real patch and not the one the was as much a bug as the game. They gave us a really good update and presentation on the new DLC available at xmas but they cant manage it on the game itself? Its not a lot to ask for weekly updates is it? Are they afraid of us or something? All we want is to enjoy the game properly, and we will for sure when it is patched, that i am certain. Even if they had come out early Nov and said we would have to wait till such a date or even until the new DLC at xmas comes out for a new patch i wouldnt care cos at least they were honest and had the guts to tell it like it is and give me some respect. Then i could put the game on hold and come back at that date instead of having to check every couple of days like a fool only to be let down.
I know some of you have no issues with the game (i dont know how?) and i wish it were me, but i dont want to hear about it. Why you comment in the game issues section is weird anyway.
I know others say grow up it isnt the end of the world its just a game but again i dont want to hear about it.
I am very passionate about games and more so when its game series i love and expect a certain level of quality from. And i can honestly say i have never come across such a bug riddled game in all my life playing on console, there may have been some others but were they top level games like this was supposed to be? And never in any enviorment (work,social,online) have i been treated so badly like waiting for updates (god forbid an apology) from The [censored]!
It feels good to get this off my (manly) chest and i will come back 21 Dec and see if all is good, i sure hope so!
