I'm a LUCKY, beacuse i have a ackup copy of my savefile both on my memory unit and on my hard-disk, so that i can rewrite the saved files when it crashes.
What i'd love to know, is a suggestions with other players to know how you solve this problem.
I don't want speak/write a word on the patch-release because i don't love polemics.
I want play my game, nothing more, nothing less.
After 75 hours, and patch installed, i start to lose my fellow in lucky 38, sunno the reason.
I say them to come back to lucky 38 and they disappeared forever.
Then, i following this line, , when i complete " Come fly with me" the sae file crashed, all that i have.
My solution is to reload from memory card the previous file, and never complete the quest, but i've got the same problem in the following quest " vault 34". so i cannot complete it neither.
Again i load my backup save file.
Any suggestion ?
Anyone have the same problem and have a new solution ?

I went through and did everything in vault 34 after the first patch adn couldnt load my gaem because of it saying dlc no longer availible. so for everyone you receieving a dlc no longer availible problem. it is not a corrupt save i alraedy called microsoft. they said that the problem consist with the game and i must wait for a update to get this problem fixed. so remember it is not a corrupted save. the patch messed up the dlc.

Yeah same here, the error - message is " dlc no longer available ", and i cannot load any save file.
So i wonder if is there any solution.
Have i to wait until dlc release to have back my saved game? do i have to purchase the dlc to play again ?

If people here are correct in that the problem is bodies or items that are falling through objects are corrupting the game saves, then the solution would be simple. Don't save in those areas! I turned off saving on Travel and only get auto saves from Wait and Sleep. And I do plenty of manual saves of course. But I make sure my saves are done in non-combat areas. This is a habit I carried over from FO3 because the game gets bogged down too much saving at doors in areas that you can go through several doors in less than a minute. Saving in calm areas and not were bodies are spazing out may be what is allowing me to continue through my second play through.

Thanks, is a good option, but i already disabled the autosave sice the first begginning, just like you did, i use only manual saves.
The problem unfortunally started as soon as i died, i cannot click on " continue" neither load any saved files, all corrupted.
Actually the only thing that works fine to m is to copy an old saved games from my memory unit to my hard drive :cryvaultboy: but i'm stopped at the same point with all the quests.

There is no fix until the DLC is released in 2-3 weeks time, you should'nt have bought Fallout:New Vegas I'm afraid. Hope you learn until the next bethesda/obsidian release.

I repeat : i don't like polemics, this thread is to compare our experience as players, to find a solution if it is possible.
For sure I'm not happy with what is going on, and with all the problems i have with this title, but until a patch is release i'd love to find a solution raher than show to the world how anger i am.

Well looks like we all shouldn't buy the game...ops,I thought that a product is released only when complete and well-working, now I discover that I'm always been wrong and it's all my fault :facepalm: :laugh:
Mr. bethesda's lawyer, let me tell the only one must "learn" something is bethesda herself, market strategy specifically. I personally suggest her to wait for the release, in order to sell a fixed game :rolleyes:

We're not waiting for the DLC to fix the problem we're waiting for the 2nd update (patch), so no you won't have to purchase the DLC to fix this problem.

As far as a solution or workaround before the update is released, there isn't one. Bethesda/Obsidian have stated that this issue will be fixed with this next update and so we wait.

Also, your current saves won't be fixed by the update. It will prevent saves from being corrupted in the future but past saves will remain corrupt. So Violet, you are smart to back up your save files.
