At what level did you finally enter New Vegas Strip?

Post » Sat Feb 19, 2011 12:16 am

I wasn't able to even entertain the idea until level 17-18, due to the unbelievable hard enemies en route. I had the "calzadors" flies which fly at some ungodly speed and ram their stinger in my gut, and on the other side I had packs of Deathclaws numbering 5-7 in each group. I finally decided it was time to visit the stupid place that the game is named after, so I plowed through taking the east side of the map and going up and around the top of New Vegas.

FYI - Missile Launcher vs the calzadors works wonders. From very far away.

Dude,if you were seeing deathclaws then that means you were going north from Goodsprings. You're supposed to follow the questline route and get there from the east. lvl 8-10 for me.

level 16.
Would have been longer too, but I decided to check it out instead of hoofing it to Vault 22, or (ugh) Mojave Outpost for the two more interesting side quests in my log. I had just been through Vault 34 so I wanted to relax a bit :P

Around level 13 or so. Just got there last night. I went around like everybody in goodsprings tells you to.

I did go back to good springs and I headed north a ways to see if I could find the grave from the comic book. I was surprised I found it with clues from the book.

On my first file, i was level 10. And at the time i didn't have 2000 caps, but theres a store in freeside, with two guys (i forget what its called) but one guy can make you a fake passport for 500 caps if you have high enough speech. and the other guy opens up a room with all the "good stuff" if you have high enough speech.

i found this by accident when i was trying to sell stuff so i could get in :whistling:

I puttered around Good Springs, Novac, Tipton and the surrounding areas. Glad I went to the Mojave Outpost. Anyway, I made it to the Strip at level 10.

Well at this point I'm sniping people from like a mile away in Freeside, so no problems there :)

The funny thing here is, I'm level 22 and I haven't stepped into NV yet, because I want to wrap up a good majority before heading in. The only deturent for this is, the broken quests and lag/freezes makes me want to finish the game asap and put this on the shelf.

LAG/FREEZES and Broken Quests NEEDS TO BE FIXED!

Around 4 or 5. I didn't go North straight into death I went where the main quest told you to go which I believe was East.
