If F3 works fine will NV?

I can run F3 maxed out with no problems. Does this mean I should have minamal problems with NV?

It might work or it might not. Usually I'd expect It'll work though. It depends much on your PC configuration will you run into problems.

I also run F3 at the highest detail level. However I still have massive performance issues with F3NV regardless of the detail level. So if I were you, I wouldn't count on it.

Absolutely not. They are 2 separate games. Making the assumption that just because they run off the same engine that they should perform similarly is a faulty one.

Most Unreal 2.5 games I've played perform well; but when Ubisoft got their hands on it for Splinter Cell's Multiplayer mode (Spies vs. Mercs), the performance looked SIGNIFICANTLY worse. And it was not even as graphically equivalent to other similar titles.

If we place a limitation on one thing in particular, it becomes easier to answer. Windows XP with Service Pack 3? Then, that should be "Yes".

Add the complication of a Vista / Win 7 version of Windows, and the odds are worse, although with various Radeon Mainline and lesser video graphics cards, it's not a lot worse. The evidence is only anecdotal, and somewhat slender thus far, but it does appear that the low end cards from the Geforce 8n00 / 9n00 recycled generation are probably also working normally for their performance levels.

On the other hand, when it's got a relatively recent Geforce video graphics card and Windows 7, 64 bit, then the answer is "Not so likely". By that, I mean from the 8800 / 9800, including all of the GTX200s and all of the GTX400s, at all levels of performance, for an out of the box game.

However, it is unfortunate that, its not working like it should work, right now until its fixed.

No. Do not buy this game for a few months. Bad idea. Wait for A sale price and lots of patches and mods

Dont listen to them, I can max out FO3 and I can do the same with NV. There are some problems with certain vid cards (like mine) but I downloaded the d3d9.DLL fix and now Im ridin' the gravy train to biscuit city.
