I noticed the non armor clothing selections in the various shops/vendors were either very thin or non-existent all the way up to level 12 in the New Vegas Strip.

Is there something obvious I'm missing, or do I have to gun down or RPP/PP the clothing I want from NPCs like FO3?

I was hoping to avoid needless bloodshed and/or trickery to get cool looking threads that I want...

Nobody sells it by dedication, but there's literally TONS of closets with clothing throughout the game. Including your safehouses.

I have noticed some of pre-war gear and some random cowboy hats while rooting through containers, but nothing like what the people in the Vegas strip (or even in the smaller ghost towns) are wearing.

Also, the Dirty Pre-War Buisness Suit and the Grimy Pre-War Suit are the same light colored suit, which kind of svcks because I like the dark colored suit version of the Grimy from FO3. Hopefully that's just a bug or oversight and will be fixed in some future patch.
