Greetings. I am a seasoned vet of the FPS genre. I started playing FPS games when DOOM came out on SNES. I hit the online scene with CoD 2 on PC. Since then I have upgraded to PS3. I currently play:

-BRINK
-Black Ops
-BF:BC2

I am fully committed to BRINK and I want to establish a website and all the various other goodies that come with having a legitimate clan. I am in no hurry to make a clan, plus I think it would be good for everyone to get to know each other first. BTW, I am not interested in a clan leader role, nor do I think a clan needs a leader. A body of mature gamers is all that is needed for a successful and FUN clan.

I don't know yet, but maybe I might be interested. It is a bit difficult to estimate not having the game yet, but I still expect the game to be great.

I started out playing FPS games ages ago with Wolfenstein 3D and only about half a year ago switched from PC to PS3. That was also the time that I started with online FPS games, playing Modern Warfare and very shortly Modern Warfare 2 (until I got sick of the cheaters and hackers).
These days I play mostly BF:BC2 and think I am a decent player, mostly aimed at the objectives and not caring about my k/d ratio or scoring points. I Love outflanking the enemy and disrupting their tactics.

I hope to get Brink tomorrow or else at the beginning of next week (my pre-order is shipping from the UK) and will see how quickly I can adjust to the gameplay.

Sounds like a great idea guy's and I agree with the whole Clans don't need a leader thing. I have started my own clan which is on the forums already and I am committed to it even though we have just started. but I wish you the best of luck. You sound like decent guy's so you should get the members you need pretty quick

I'm really new to the whole idea of clans, so I still don't know if it's interesting for me. I play Bad Company 2 mostly with randoms and only have one person on my PSN friends list.
It can get a little frustrating in BC2 when you're up against a squad of rank 50's and your teammates are camping in a bush, getting themselves killed at the best defended flag (I play mostly conquest) or allow themselves to be driven back to the base. For Brink I'm hoping to find a few people that are less like headless chickens and enjoy mastering the variety of body types and moves, as well as the maps and tactics.

I've been looking for a Brink clan actually, and would gladly join yours. Brink on PSN seems pretty dead as of right now and I'd enjoy playing with some real people for a change.

yea im not 2 sure about the clan thing in this game since there is NO clan support in this game just these forums. & with no match making lobbies it would be hard 2 organise clan battles let alone just grouping up with your clan. if they implement sum kind of real clan system i would gladly set up my clan here which is The Most Hated (H8T) but like i said with no lobbies/clan tags im not gunna start up a clan with no real in game support
