Been trying to complete the security campaign on solo since the Multiplayer is so horridly lagged that i cant play it right now, but i cant get past the mission where you have to stop the missile from being launched...

why not? well because i have to change to operative and hack something on the 2nd objective and not a damned member of my team is helping me or covering me because theyre all off doing their oooooh-so important little side missions...
and that hacking post is in the middle of an open space so theres nowhere to hide, and i end up dying... Hell, even if i stop hacking and take down the enemies that come running, i still cant get it done before i either run out of ammo or i get gunned down...

please, please, please make the damned bots work at least SOMEWHAT towards the main objective...

i know you want to make the player feel like hes the hero and all that crap, but if you do it like this it feels more like hes being bullied by his teammates.

What platform are you on, what difficulty are you on, have you tried different difficulties, have you tried avoiding the objective class.

I've won that mission a couple of times now on Hard, playing as a Medic.

If you keep your team alive, they'll do the rest - it's still not easy, because the enemies are REALLY good and your team is only competent, but if you help out in the fight, and focus on not letting people die, you should come out ahead.

EDIT: Also, there's already plenty of threads on this. Take a look around next time, just in case.

The more threads on this issue, the better if you ask me. Let them know the magnitude of this issue.

I had the same problem, even when playing on easy. I had to replay the mission so may times, i finally won when a couple friendlies decided to protect me when i was hacking, it was unbelievable!
My friendly ai usually do nothing related to the mission. It was just luck i'd say

They did not fix it on PC same here your team ai are aweful and the opposing side just 1 or 2 shots you over and over. If you notice, even if you are the furtherest away and your bots right next to them the enemy bots still all point to you first then kill your ai lol.

On PC (and they didnt fix it like someone said they did) tried all difficulties, tried avoiding the objective clas and all that... ive played the campaign through rezistance and up to this mission on security, and whilst it has been hard at times, its never been impossible... but this time it is... the objective is in the open, i have to hack it for a long time, and when i die they remove the hack and i have to start over and my teammates are doing nothing to help...

They fixed the lag and specific lil issues, but not the Bots for us yet (XBOX).

For anyone in this topic (including OP), if you see Big Teams in your Playlist options in Free Play you should have the update (there was no DL for it).

Other then that, I agree OP, they're redundantly [censored] lil toddlers aren't they?

No noticeable difference in friendly AI on PC either. Dumb as ever.

Your bot AI is the short bus crowd having a blood sugar low and the enemy bot AI is crack commando god squad with auto headshot and mission completion.

Have patched and can honestly say they have done 2 fiths of f*** all to fix the bots , thsi is the same mission I cant complete , the objective is unholdable and the friendly AI is [censored]. You could do it your self if yiou had cover but you cant even get that. The game is not balanced at all and personaly I believe it will be a short lived game at least for my self. I was worried that the online would eb full of hacks and cheats , turns out thats the offline mode with AI insta-headshots and super revives, owe and did i mention the ability to shoot through some walls .......who needs hacks when the game comes with its own.....

When i did my campaign playthrough on Normal, i was raging on this mission. I finished it in Overtime while playing as an Operative who i had not a single point put into bc i was getting so frustrated with my team.

I skipped that mission on Hard. Probably won't do it for a long time.

AI do need a fix, badly.

I agree with this post. I am not trying to be ironic. I have this same problem.
