What would you do if...

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 3:11 pm

This is assuming you purchased the ability to cook nades.

This scenario is "rigged" in a way, because in everybody's answer, everything goes smoothly. People will be like, "I toss a nade, and take some of them out." How do you know? What if they saw you toss the nade, and waited for it to explode before perusing you?

That's why I didn't give an answer.

Carefully fire upon the Heavy Engineer to attract their attention, and back up behind the corner. Right at the corner, out of their sight, place the mine. The Heavy Soldier would most likely try to come after me, but stepping on the mine would die or be badly injured. As the medic goes to heal or res the soldier, lean out and try to pour a clip into his face, which would probably effectively kill him if I have high accuracy. As the last heavy is an engineer, I toss a grenade to the side of him hoping to attract him around the corner as I slide behind the boxes. If my plan works, he will go around the corner to meet my turret, at which point would lean out of the boxes and just fire upon him hoping to kill him. If all goes as planned, I could most likely succeed.

If they havent seen me yet sneak back to where I have my turret begin looking at the surroundings seeing what cover they may use to hide from my turret set my mine there go back shoot at them to get there attention high tail it back to my turret when it starts firing and they go to hide behind the cover I throw my grenade while simultaneously my mine goes of injuring or killing those who where next to it and my grenade finishes of the injured ones. Then while they are paying attention to my turret I flank around behind them and pick the remaining ones off that were not killed by the landmine, turret or the grenade. Theres one way I would handle the situation.

Lay grenade around cover by turret. Open fire. Double back and find cover near the turret. When they go around the corner, if they don't notice the mine, throw the grenade at them when the mine blows up and open fire along with my turret.

A tactic I tend to use in situations like this, that seems to work, is dropping a nade in my tracks while I'm running for cover. Players don't usually expect a nade.

I guess I'd try to take down the medic (assuming I knew which one it is) using my grenade, and then finishing him off with my SMG if necessary. I'd then make sure the two other people have seen me before slipping back around the corner. They've most likely follow me, since I'm a light and as they'd come around the corner they'd be faced by both my turret and me. But I'd only fire a few shots, then do my best to act as a distraction as my sentry fills them with lead.

I'd never play as an engineer though, I'm not much for having a turret do all the work. And it's all very circumstantial what I do, because I like to use my environment as much as I can. But yeah, I hope this was something along the lines of what you were looking for. At least I'm not one of those people that like to tear up posts. :P *Cough* Horse.

How dare you. Seriously. That hurt my feelings, because I'm not an Anger assassin, or a light Operative ninja, I'm certainly not a happy camper, or a ohk sniper. And most of all, I am CERTAINLY NOT A MW2 PLAYER.

I'd plant the mine just around the corner, throw the nade and run. The survivors would turn the corner and step on the mine, then get shredded by the turret.

I'd need to be fast and quiet for that to work though.

As HORSE said, all that information is missing, and I'd also need to know how my environment is.

I think the first post was edited.
