can anybody tell me why me and my friends experience ridiculous lag when playing brink. Yet when we play games like call of duty and halo we have host connection with no lag is this a server problem that needs fixing or is 20meg internet not fast enough for brink but yet i am still waiting to actually finish an online game as the lag is so uncontrollable i rage and then quit the lobby. and why does it seem like i am the only one in the lobby laggin as people on my team and the other team seem to playing the objectives and killing eachother perfectly fine.

Gueesing it has something to do with you not choosing a low ping server?

Also playing on a dedicated server obviously helps.

I've played for nearly 2 days now, and I've only seen minimal lag issues and even those are relativly rare.

Have to say if they don't fix this lag issue Brink will be the biggest disapointment of the year so far. I just picked up the game last night, I downloaded the update that was suppose to fix the lag issues. Tried playing online campaign and freeplay and everytime i got into a game the lag was so bad that it is unplayable. For a company like Splash Damage that has been bragging about how focus they were on the Mulitplayer aspect gaming and having a track record of mainly making mulitiplayer games they have seriously failed on this game. Which is really sad because i really enjoy the character design and eviroments but the biggest feature that they talked about up til the games release was multiplayer. And that feature does not work. This game should have stayed in testing for another month for them to work out the bugs. When i say unplayable i am not talking about a few jumps here and there or not being able to kill a player as easily as i would like. I can't even move around the enviroment with out contstant jumping around. Its imposible to play it. PLEASE FIX THIS SOON. I REALLY WOULD LIKE TO LOVE THIS GAME BUT I CAN'T IN ITS CURRENT STATE.
