So ya know.. I'm in the Strip, I go to the Tops Hotel (excuse me if that's not the exact name), I give the guy at the front counter all my weapons. So.. How do I get them back? I tried talking to them and going to the chip bank.. Anyone know what to do?

That happened to one of the devs during an E3 interview.They played the situation down and reloaded the save.There could very well be a messy bug here.

if you have a previous save, go back to it, deposit your items someplace safe for the time being and sneak in a silenced .22 pistol or some brass knuckles, a guy outside of one of the casinos sells guns you can sneak in, this way you don't risk losing your items and you can still defend yourself for the time being. so if there is a bug you can skip it this way until a patch is made.
