SOME IDEAS i THOUGHT OF

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 8:59 am

i Don't know if i will even be heared at all but, Fallout is one of my favoret game of all time, i Realy like Bethesda's work. Morrowind was great and i still play it alot. But Fallout 3 is sweet. It's Fallout but first person shooter/rpg and made by me favoret game company of all time. The one thing i didn't like about fallout 3 was the aiming, i Think New Vagas and any other up coming Fallouts, You should aim down your sites like fps style. Iron sights on the guns or maybe some kinds of random sites on random guns. Now one of the mods for oblivion PC was movable furnature(beds, storage, lockers, shelfs, and so on) in your house, Like even just drag it and placing it like the random items and guns in fallout 3/Oblivion. Last but not least and i don't realy care much but. i See alot of tricycles in Fallout 3, So there for pedeled mobility is still in reach, i Think it would be kool to have bycicles randomly through out the wastes too ride, faster then walkin, maybe even jump off the bike fast to kill enimies (bike keeps going for a bit like a ghost ride). or at least a sprint button to run for a short period of time plz. For wether you need to get some where far/fast or just to flee from enimies. thanks for reading my ideas don't matter any ways Fallout rocks and always will. but the aimming down your sites would make it that much better.

I thought we could already aim? I remember sniping people with a scope in Fallout 3...

When real people are aiming at something, they don't keep the gun at their hip and move their head slightly closer to their target :P

I think he means aiming directly down the iron sights a la Call of Duty. I have to agree with this, simply putting your gun closer to your field of vision is a bit annoying. I like the feel that I'm actually aiming down the sights.

As for vehicles. Motorcycles are honestly the only acceptable thing, as well as doable, if not for a lack of fuel.

Aiming down iron sights wouldn't work because of one very important reason: Fallout 3 is an RPG.

Bullets don't always take the same flight path, it's an incentive to pour skill points into a skill such as Small Guns. Even with 100 in Small Guns, there is still a dice roll effect because of how said system works.

Wow am I getting sick of the whole "Its an RPG" thing. Aiming down the iron sights has nothing to do with a bullets flight path or the accuracy of a gun. It just means you're making a smaller target for yourself, therefore giving yourself a better chance to hit your target. Pouring skill points into Small Guns and whatnot should very well improve accuracy and whatnot, but the fact of the matter is that we ought to have a not so half assed aiming system.

Yeah, I'm for iron sights.

Level 20 small guns skill and you don't hold the rifle that steady/the bullets don't go where you aim/bigger recoil.
The higher level you get of said skill, the better you get at holding the rifle steady/aiming and handling recoil.

Slightly more thoughtful than making mean-spirited comments towards other members.

:slap:

I like the sprint idea.
