1. its not in that gameboy mode anymore you can also see in first person and get a real good taste of the surrounding.2 once again graphics3. there could be a whole new story line there and plus many people didnt play 1 or2 and they probably wont because its really old and outdated no offense 4.you would get to see california in great detial
I agree with this, they could tie in more of the old story to please the old fans while giving the new ones more background information on what went on plus, they could tell it the way it was originally intended to be told which I doubt when they came up with the story in their head they were thinking of telling it froma birdseye view.
They could immerse you so much more now but, at the same time I think the franchise has started to take a different direction and I'm not sure how relevent the old stuff would even be now. As much as the old fans love the old games, story and look, the new games have re-invented that look and took things in the direction they now want to take it.
Personally I love it, I prefer Fallout 3 to the old games, I prefer it over New Vegas to bar the gem mechanic improvements but, I love them all.
Everyone on here has a different view and idea of what the game is and where it should go, what's right and what's wrong etc so, it's hared to please everyone, infact it's impossible.
I think they've done a great job with the game and I also thinkt here is some great ideas kicking about on this forum too.
I'd also like to see a big expansion aswell, I love Shivering Isles and it really was worth thr money. I don't know about you's but, when I play the DLC's for Fallout I really take my time, check every area out slowly, don't rush throught the quests and I have a feeling of dread that the next quest is going to be the las tone and it's all going to be over soon.
This is because the DLC's are always so short and it's hard to immerse you and make the side-stories to the main game worthwhile when you enter a completely new area for a short amont of time them travel back and can't ever go back their, no-one knows where you've been, no-one cares and everything is just as it was.
I always wanted a DLC a bit like Broken Steel but, taken further so it affects the world map, maybe expands it, updates villages, updates areas of the map, new random encounters, old villages expanding, new ones appearing etc and making a long quest that relates to the main game, lets you know more of tha aftermath of the end of the main game and takes the whole thing further.
There is so much potential in this but, if I'm being honest I think if Oblivion came out now when it came to releasing Shivering Isles they would release it as a sequel on it's own disc.
I don't think they really made the sort of money/dev-work cost, time off that DLC than they have of the smaller ones.
Saying that, I think DLC is more popular now, I just can't see us getting a DLC of such size and quality again unfortunately. Not that I have disliked any of them so far, it's just I never want it to end and I hate fearing the DLC ending 'cos I know they always end so soon.
