I recently downloaded the new Dead Money DLC and before attempting the new addition to Fallout New Vegas, I had a few things I wanted to take care of (ex. few weapon upgrades, quests in order to recieve power armor) and while I was just walking through the desert (no enemies near by) my console froze solid, I couldnt move, hear music, open dashboard or pop-up window, anything. The only option I had was to manually power down my xbox. I tried several times to reload saves points (recent and old) and I couldn't even walk 10 steps without my xbox freezing solid time and time again. I tried redownloading the DLC and still nothing. I even went as far as total disassembling my xbox for thorough cleaning, it didnt help at all. I have two room mates with xbox's and using their console had no effect, they froze just the same. Playing any other game on any of the consoles is still crisp and clean, no glitching. I have no idea as to what I should try next and I'm really hoping someone out there or from Bethesda Softworks can help me fix this issue as I would like the play the DLC or atleast finish the game (40 hours in and I'd hate to have to destroy all the work I've done)

I too am haveing this issue and am sorry to hear that you have to go though it as well . Heres to hopeing the next patch will fix more prolems than it causes . Ps a guy ant gamesas support told me to turn off auto save and it did help with the random lockups but as soon as i went to save the game it was over .

yeh umm you might wanna clear the cache and remove the latest downgrade,,, sorry meant update.. or maybe just turn your xbox off every 4 to 8 hrs should stop the freezing,least thats what happens if i turn it on,forget it for 6 hrs cause im watching my daughter,comeback and its all chuggy and you know the freeze is coming,save game and power down

Problem is the game will lock up after only 10 minutes of play and about everytime you try to save it
