So I just finished DEAD MONEY. Wow for me that was quite the pain.... the dull red colors.... boring missions.... lack of cool equipment oh my ANYWAYS. WHen I started the DLC I had BOONE and ED-E with me. I enter bunker they return to their homes. BLAH BLAH. SOOO. I leave bunker, return to Novac, pick up Boone, sell some [censored], head to Primm to pick up my "Pal" ED-E, but as soon as I enter the Nash's residence ED-E goes absolutely insane and starts shooting at (and killing) the Nash's and myself. If I kill him I end up failing the mission "ED-E My Love".


I guess I'll just avoid him for now. I haven't checked yet but does anyone know if it's possible to do that mission without ED-E in your party?

I gave up before the end, but if you search the forum there are suggestions for how to get ED-E back.

I'm currently playing Dead Money and I have already done the "ED-E My Love" quest. I left him with the rest of my companions at the Luck 38. Will ED-E become hostile when I return or is he alright since I finished the quest and have him at the Lucky 38.

I don't know, but think that if you left him at the Lucky 38 he should still be there (unwise it would be a glitch, and we don't want that in FO:NV do we? :hubbahubba: )

i just finished Dead Money. That was the most torturous experience i have ever had the displeasure to endure sitting in front of an XBox. Too many traps. The speaker thing got old quickly. Nothing can protect you from the poison? Gun shots to the head put bad guys down, but you have to hit them with a knive to kill them? Atomic-level rearrangement machines? Seriously? And always the epic load times and multiple crashes.

Anyway, when i got back and kissed the ground of the Mohave, i went to get ED-E first before anything, because i missed him. And he went psychotic and killed everyone.

None of the so-called remedies around this glitch have worked. Sigh.

i'm so tired of this game not working right. i think i'm done playing.
