Do all PC versions have Steam?

Post » Tue Feb 01, 2011 9:30 pm

I hate Steam. So I must know...
Did Bethesda make my Modding a complete cluster fink. I want to hear..."Why no they did not do that to us Modders." My PC version from Amazon.giveyouwhatervertrashislayingaround.com whom I liked until my beloved Fallout game came all frikkin saddled with frikkin Steam.

What does Steam have to do with messing up mods and modding?

Actually, Hazard, there ARE PC versions that are Steamless. But those are special, unencrypted review copies. :hubbahubba:

Steam shouldn't cause any issues with modding.

Well Thanks to all who replied. I have created my first mod for F: NV!!!!!! It's a simple mod adding 1 more point of damage to the varmit rifle. The 5.56 round is stronger than the original build IMO.

It doesnt. Ive modded NV just fine. Bought FO3 via Steam when it first came out and modded (and used other peep's mods) just fine.

You should say "pirated" copies. I always hate pirates.
