I just wanted to say how excited I was about this game when it was first announced, but since then, I've been feeling less confident about buying it. I thought it would finally be the fallout battlefield type game with good rpg and shooting, but it just looks weird. I keep seeing the same 4-5 guns over and over in the vids and the game's really not an "advanced" rpg I was expecting...

Heck I even looked at that Ukrainian game METRO. I believe the heavy rpg with great/realistic fps combat in a post apocalyptic (maybe not nuclear, but end-of-the-worldesque none-the-less) will sell great, but I feel a bit let down about RAGE. But maybe the real game will different than I think it will be, but a demo should quell (or confirm) my worries. :/

from the beginning rage wasnt realistic fps game and from the beginning devs saying to us that it have some rpg elements

RAGE is an FPS game. I don't even know why people say that its something else. Yes, It includes elements from other genres, but this doesn't necessary make it an RPG or racing game.

Id Software aims to revolutionise the genre with RAge by elevating the well known formula to something unseen and unique.

I think it is great that they are not copying fallout, metro 2033, COD, BF or gosh knows what else.

Actually no, this forum has a very low traffic, in every comment section on video sites where Rage videos are posted there are hundreds of comments saying the same thing.

From so many comments ive seen, all you seem to want from this game is an RPG, well its not so get OVER it. Go play Fallout or Borderlands if you want an RPG cause many, many other players including myself are excited for this game because its bringing something interesting to the table.
