corpse search

I'm an avid fan of the Fallout games & Borderlands etc, so this Rage game looks like its definitely for me. However I've perused as many trailers & E3 show sneak previews as I can to see what the game has on offer. One disturbing thing I've noticed while watching the Rage game play is that there is a lack of rummaging through the pockets of the dead i.e. people you've just killed, to gain extra ammo & other useful paraphernalia. Does anyone know if the game allows this pocket sifting activity?

You can see in one trailer that he goes through the pockets of one of his enemies all he did was click on the body and it gave you ammo and possibly parts for turrets etc.

I believe so since they are in-game traders and markets for you to buy and sell things, so i imagine you will be able to loot enemies for such purposes.

Yeah, it's present, don't worry. :) I don't think the games very "post-apocalyptic" if it didn't feature that (and that goes for any game).

I'm glad to see you guys are so optimistic. I was sorely up set to find you can't level your character up like you can in fallout. I know you can upgrade your car & Ive heard you can up grade your weapons. You can even upgrade your defibrillator but not your character which is a bummer. So I feel pocket sifting is an important element to any open world game. Don't let me down I.D Software/Bethesda! I am clinging to hope.
