If I had to choose between those 3, I'd choose XFO. FOOK is more of a bugfix/item addon mod rather than a gameplay overhaul (like XFO) and I don't even know what Earache is (been away from the community for awhile).

My personal choice, however, is Arwen's Realism Tweaks, as I feel it's the best balanced. Though, I do warn you, hardcoe mode with Arwen's is really... well... hardcoe.

Also, keep an eye on Project Nevada. I'm sure after they release some of their rebalancing modules, it will be quite an amazing mod.

Those mods each do different things. If you don't want to make your game bigger (13MB? That's tiny, man!) then you should just get XFO. If, however, you're not that worried about space and aren't a weapons nut, get FOOK. If you ARE a weapons nut, get Earache.

Personally, I have all three installed at the same time. RIght now.

Earache is more of a weapons-only mod than a complete overhaul, like what FOOK is, and XFO is basically a rebalancer. Fruitcake, watermelon, orange juice.

I use fook and xfo, xfo is like FWE, it custom overhaul mod, mean you can configure stuff how you want. Its not as good as FWE was though, less options and just less polished overhaul still its the best out there untill Project Nevada comes out with there options stuff.
