Location-Specific loading crashes. Please help.

Hello everyone,
I've been playing with a 20 hour save game, and my next longest is 9 hours behind. It was running just fine, no major problems, until I entered Tops Casino. I was getting ready to massacre all of the chairmen, so I saved my game. They ended up massacring me, so it tried reloading my game. Since then, the two saves I have from Tops Casino crash while loading.
However, my save which is 9 hours behind, in Goodsprings, or any other location, loads just fine and plays just fine.
Therefore, I know I don't have a video problem.
Can the location of a save cause a crash while loading?
Has anyone else had similiar crashes which are location specific?
Is there anyway I can modify my file to simply spawn me on a different map?

Please help!

Fallout New Vegas is known to have currupt save games (Even after the current 2 patches). I experienced one around Novac and had to reload a previous save. To keep it from happing again - I made sure I did not save the game in that location.

You have my condolences if you are going to loose alot of playing time by reloading a previous saved game or starting over.

You can thank Chris and his quality control team at obsidian this issue.

Do you think that this type of crash (location based) is the kind that can be fixed with their patch? Its gotta be an issue with something in that map.

The real question would be - How much effort obsidian and Bethesda are willing to put forth to fix the issues. Keep in Mind that some major issues in fallout 3 were never fixed - Such as Quad processor support ( And I am begining to think that Fallout New may have some quad issues as well )

According to the rules of this forum - all we can do is wait. However, on a personal level, perhaps there is something that can be done - to speed up the fix process.

I'm just now starting to see more and more reports of these crashes.
The locations include-
Vault-3
Repconn
Novac
Tops Casino..

Is there a difference between the "corrupt save files"? Meaning..
Some literally cause the game to say "Your file is currupt" while others simply crash the game. Whats the difference?
