So I'm at a point where it seems no matter what i do the game keeps crashing. please please please pleasse help this is driving me bonkers. it all started with boone's bitter springs mission, kept crashing there so i didnt do that one and now it's crashing almost everytime i engage an enemy.

Intel i5-750
8gig ram
win 7 x64
geforce 8800gt latest drivers.

also ED-E doesnt seem to follow me anywhere he just sits at the entrances and exits of buildings.

also he never shoots at the enemy either and i've stocked him with every possible kind of ammo

There is never any need for multiple duplicate messages here. You now have two that look about the same to me, which is at least one too many. I haven't looked at the other one you wrote, but it does look as though it "almost" concerns something else, although you were still complaining about a crash again in it.
