First off I would like to just say that I have enjoyed New Vegas a lot, but this has kind of destroyed my good feeling towards this game a little bit.

I got this for Christmas, so my Xbox has been bashed (60+ hours) already and I have done most of the achievements already, but this is where my problems started!

I started the game off and have done all of the story lines and enjoyed them a huge amount. Finally I decided to start a new game from starch and do the NCR quest line. I problem is that no matter how many times I go to the embassy, Ambassador Dennis Crocker is never there.

I have tried leaving the strip, waiting an hour, then going back this did not work. So I tried the same this but this time waiting two hours and so on all the way until I was waiting 12 hours, still nothing. It must have taken me 6 hours to go thought 24 hours on the game clock like this. At no time, day or night did he show up.

So finally, I started another brand new game…5 hours in nothing. I am now on my eight new game (plus the other four I already had) and nothing. Is this guy really in this game or is it a joke?

I have cleared out I chech, I have a new Xbox 360 (Halo) slim and 225GB free memory. I even tried copying the game to the hard drive. This has taken me over 40 hours to ever get this give to show up, I am a bit fed up of starting new games.

I don’t know what else to do, any ideas?

Hey i′ve tried to dig something up for u.......
If the Courier waits in the Embassy at night when Ambassador Crocker isn't around, waiting for him to appear in the morning/afternoon, he will not appear in the building........
All you have to do is take your player and exit the Embassy and re-enter for the Ambassador and his secretary to appear in the Embassy.

---He will not always reappear though, sometimes disappearing from the game permanently---

Thankyou for the post...I am trying new game 13 now...I have tried going all over the map and waiting still nothing...I dont know what else to do...lol

Ok, now I have done the NCR storyline all the way though. I think you have to go and see him as soon as you have a run in with Benny in the Casino the first time, if you leave it until later he does not spawn.

On my playthroughs, I wait until an NCR trooper approaches me on the Strip. He comes after me when I leave Lucky 38/confront Benny
