Accuracy and Stability question

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 4:48 pm

I'm a little confused about how these work exactly.

Here is what I assume:

Accuracy means that your starting spread is very small.
Stability is how quickly your spread expands as you fire... (or as you move.)

Does anyone know if that is correct or not?

I like a gun that I can fire from the hip using short bursts. If the above is true, then I would look for a gun with good accuracy, but low stability (so that it requries the bursts.) I would most likely use the sling and ammo attachments, rather than sight attachments, or attachments that stabilize the gun.

Im pretty sure almost all the SMG are great for short bursts, so pick the highest damage smg if that is your strategy.

Accuracy tends to encapsulate RBS, and also the amount of spread that's added as fire is sustained. In my experience, Stability is geared more towards general handling; be it involving recoil, or how badly the accuracy is effected by movement.

Sounds like an AR is going to be your way to go, the FRKN-3K is burst-fire and seems relatively powerful. And it looks like too.

From the gameplay that I've seen, muzzle brakes and grips are going to be very important for accuracy.

Pretty much.

Stability is how quickly your spread expands as you fire... (or as you move.)
Stability is the ability to hold your weapon and prevent bouncing.

Yeah, the guns are nowhere near as accurate with hip-fire as they made them out to be... <_<

Oh, well that makes perfect sense too.
