I think it's safe to say yes.

Pretty sure there will be. With Fallout 3 giving us 'misc items' that we could collect (and the older Fallouts for that matter) I'm sure New Vegas will follow suit.

I hope there won't just be "junk", buit also COLLECTORS of this junk (like the various people you could sell misc stuff to in FO3).

I hope they have drastically improved the games ''pick up'' feature. It was frustrateing in FO3 to try to decorate your house with items, you'd end up knocking evreything over and having to start again. :brokencomputer:

Haha, that too, but I was also thinking about people such as scribe rothchild who'll buy cameras and sensors of you, that old guy in Megatron who buys scrap metal or those owmen in The Pitt who wants teddy bears...

I wouldnt mind this, IF, and only if, the cap to rarity ratio was logical. IE, some chick who'll buy bent tin cans at 50 caps per can, that's just dumb. But say it's a pre-war book, which is a rarity within itself, if its 50 caps per book, thats reasonable.

Well, the "cap to rarity ratio was logical" WAS rather like this in FO3 - the old guy in Megatron buys scrap metall for ten caps apiece, I think and that woman at the Arlington Library will pay 100 caps for a single pre-war book. Seems fairly reasonable to me, at least, so if it remains like this in FONW... :)

Just had a new ROLEPLAY idea..

a wandering JUNKMAN.

Id walk round killin' people and collecting junk to put on the floor in my shack.

id probably shoot a lot of innocent people in the back of the head.

children mod? definatly. Junkman definatly kills kids.

i give up collecting, im a modding now :P

fallout 3, every new location i went to i took EVERYTHING, stored it in the closesed container to the exit & carried EVERY bit of it back home "megaton" once i had finished that location.

from now on im modding containers full of stuff, walking back to megaton because your overburdened or even back & forth about the 9 times it takes to get it all back really svcks :P

ps: on the other hand i intend on putting cars into the game with working storage in the trunk's so i guess it wont be all bad ;)
