I've playing Fallout New Vegas for quite some time now. This is my first play through as well. I just got to Camp McCarren. I go and talk to this Angela Williams anf she talks to me and all that. Well when I've gone through all of her dialogue options I go onto the next room where there is this Thomas Hildern. I go through all his dialogue options and complete his mission he offeres me. However, I had saved just after I completed his mission, and then it autosaved soon after that. Now there is only one way in the room. Now this Anegela Williams is standing almost right in the doorway. And here is where my problem starts.

As soon as I get near her the game automatically goes into her dialogue and she says, "What do you need?" and my only option is to say "I need to get going". After that It ends the conversation and then my hud remains hidden from me. I can't do anything, such as activating my pipboy, waiting, talk to anybody, NOTHING! All I can basically do is spin in circles and crouch like an idiot. On wiki there has been a known glitch that says the exact propblem that I am mentioning here, but no solution. I have this for the xbox 360. I CAN NOT revert to a previous save as they are all in that one room that I am stuck in.

So is there any fix for this, besides killing her? My first playthrough is at a standstill at 54 hours of gameplay as I cannot progress further out of the room. I really don't want to start over either, I would rather not kill her because my reputation with the NCR is great, but If I kill her it goes from Idolized to Infamous and my reputation I worked so hard to get is gone within seconds. PLEASE HELP, as I can't do anything...................

Found a solution to this problem. Clear Xbox 360 cache, go into game without updating. Load save game. The dialogue will commence again, then just walk out of the room. Save, then if you wish update the game again. Don't know how this will work with add-on.


This solution works so far. But I don't know what kind of problems this will cause later in the game for me. But so far this is the only working solution to this bug. The latest patch seems to have caused this bug in the first place. Just a heads up guys
