Just received email confirmation of my PS3 Brink shipping out on the 6th and checked the tracking info on Fed Ex, its in transit scheduled to deliver on May 10th. The funny thing is my confirmation from wally world still even says delivery on 17th-19th so their system is in fact screwed yet it looks as if the games are comming out on time.

Wait, bigger question is: will the Spec-Ops code be in the boxes/on the receipt? I hope Wal-Mart gives us the code after all of that worrying!

As far as i have watched and fought with walmart those who ordered the xbox version had no worries overshadowing them, just PS3 users where the site was trying to tell us delivery a week after release. Well not just the site multiple responses from walmart.com helpdesk and some on phone reps tried to tell me it as well. I spoke with a manager at a call center, had to go above the floor supervisor and she said the codes should be on a slip of paper in with the game sort of like a packing slip.

Yea I have been going back and forth with Walmart about this for a minute now lol. Then they guarantee'd me it would arrive on May 10th then I got my confirmation stating it would not arrive until May 17th so I emailed them a not so pretty email saying basically if it did not show up on release date they would be giving me my copy for free since it falls under a pre-order guarantee that it will arrive on release day.

I just tried to pre order again, cuz i just checked my email and apparently my first pre order didnt go through. Now its telling me unavailable for pre order at both walmarts in my town

The deadline at walmart to pre-order was wed. And Gotcha, unfortunatley I found out what the garuntee is for pre-order promise, they credit you the shipping fees. a whopping 97 cents

I dont think so. I just pre ordered today. At gamestop you can pre order the day before. So why would they make a deadline. Link?

The deadline is for walmart.com its to fall under their pre-order promise to get the item on release date delivered to your home. One of the restricions is you have to order minimum of at least 3 business days before the release date or you wont get it on release date, you get it after.

Am I good then or no? I ordered it earlier today. Apparently you cant pre order the game in walmart which is the stupidest possible thing.

Well if you ordered it from wal-mart.com Thursday, Friday or today. it wont be garunteed to be delivered by May 10th. So you may get it a day or two late, depending on shipping method.

Edit: But hey that gives PSN more time to get its rear in gear and back online. :tops:
