I remember a while back I was researching CPU cooling options before I went with a stock fan options. One item I found was quite interesting, but now I can't seem to find it anymore. It was basically a ceramic plate that when a current was passed through it one side would get razor hot and the other would get cold as ice. Starting to do some research into a project and wondered about this item however as mentioned I can't find it cause I can't remember the blasted name.

Anyone have any idea what i'm thinking of? Know it exists I just can't remember the name of the item.

ya looks like it might be a Peltier, but I can't find a place to buy one yet I swear I remember newegg carrying some.

Found it i'm looking for a "Thermoelectric Cooling" system "TEC" and sadly I may not be able to get one for my research.
