Does anyone know of some good beat makers for windows 7? I was messing around on my friends mac with Garage Band and it was awesome. I am going to start with free but I probably wouldnt mind paying money either, so dont be afraid to post some non free ones too.

edit: I should probably say music maker instead of beat maker.

ahhhhhhhh yeeeeeaaaaaa!!!!!! thats what i have. it is super fun when you are bored. the only problem i have with it is that it SOMETIMES lags. but why don't you just get a mac??? :biggrin:

Fruity Loops works pretty good. You can add strings, bass, hits and the like as well.. ther are also a lot of plug ins and options to tweak sounds with..

Aside from SW, MPC's are great pieces of HW,....but pricey.
