Everytime i fire it, it will not stop makeing a very loud mini gun firing sound even if i stop firing. And will not stop no matter what i do (unless reload the game from before i fired of course). Caused the game to crash eventually. And the gun also fires off key for example i AM firing but no sound but only for a few seconds. Strangely enough if i move away from where i was firing it get quieter and quieter and if i go back it gets louder. Please someone tell me this can be fixed.

You tried the reloading way... the 2nd way is that i had Boone the mini gun and i was in the basemant of "Come Fly With Me" mission Boone fired that gun killing davison. Now i heard the same mini gun shooting but no one shooting... So i went further down in the basemant and saw rockets. When i came back where the sound was; it was no longer there. If if you go in a distance away where the sound repeated from eventually it will no longer happen.

Give the mini gun to rex or ED-E so you don't hear it anymore.

I Just found that gun and had the same thing but I found the sounds stop by switching guns.
