EZ-nade?

I don't understand this weapon, I just can't get a kill with it. I usually get at some high point and start shooting, but I don't manage to knock out anyone or kill them.
Does anyone know how to use this weapon or is just rubbish?

in my opinion rubbish, if your playing with other people who can kill the people you knock down then it might be okay. but otherwise just leave it alone

I wouldn't say its rubbish. It's a great support weapon. Not meant to knockout/kill anyone, as much as it is to clear out tight spots, or keep an objective being completed by knocking everyone around where its fired, off their feet.

It's an area-denial weapon for stalling an enemy attack.

Basically, it lets you stop everyone at once if they're in a relatively enclosed space, and a single player with one can severely blunt a charge.

Not the best killing weapon, but it's great for protecting your HE charge as a Soldier.

Its a crowd control weapon, as oblivion said.

It can be really fun to use, how else can you drop six nades on those unruly "guests"?

Ive found the damn thing next to useless. Underslung launcher is way superior. Damn ez nades fires slowly, they bounce all round the place & have almost no area of effect. Def not for me. Anyone got any success stories? tips?

This gun will knock a whole team on its backsides in seconds, it is great at what it is ment to do, as are all grenades in brink, knocking down oppenets and dealing a medium ammount of damage to all victims involved. I have cleared rooms, choke points, objectives, and just mobs of players in general out with this gun many many times, and whatevers left gets picked off by your team before the enemies know what happened. And yes i have gotten kills with it, but I never expected to because thats not what its ment for. Every time i use this gun and see my name in the kill feed I just say "Haha! I killed somebody!" Because I am fine with the fact that I wont get kills with the EZ nade very often.

It has its uses. My beef with it is its inaccuracy, but I love the Lobster GL.

A friend of mine uses this weapon alot, in crowded areas it causes complete chaos.. letting the rest of us slip in to put the guys down for good, it works really well for clearing defended areas.. but it relys on other players to finish the job, TEAMWORK :D

They should patch it to detonate on impact.

That would improve it vastly.

Leave the bouncing around for hand-held grenades and make these weapon-based ones detonate on impact (like the noobtube attachment).

No, it's be far too overpowered and takeaway all the skill of using it.

if you fire fast you dont hit anything.

also with the lobster gl.
its ridiculos if you have much ammo and fire many shots it will be inacurrate as hell.
thats kinda dumb because its a weapon that you have to reload after each shot.

Then don't fire fast. This is called recoil, or bloom i supposse, and it applies to all weapons in the game. Fire in bursts, three shots, wait, three shots, reload, repeat. Besides, if you are shooting at a wall behind the other team, you can fire all 6 rounds back to back and pretty much gurantee they will bounce off the wall and nail the other team.
