Why no Front Grip/Tripod for the Maximus MG?

Topic/Discuss.

I just noticed this while toying around with the HEAVY specific weapons (Chinzor, Gotlung, Maximus MG's)

Why is there nothing AT ALL to even try to help the recoil of this gun? There's no Bottom Attachment whatsoever? I KNOW we can't go Prone and all (kind've defeats the purpose of the "Tripod" idea), but we can't even get a FRONT GRIP on a LIGHT MACHINE GUN? O.o orly?

I've even tried the COGA Scope, C-U Gone Sight, so on so forth. Even Adjusted Iron Sights... STILL doesn't make this gun's recoil chillout.

Anyone else notice this?

No not really. Actually in my opinion with the C U Gone sight this is actually one of the more manageable and accurate LMG's. I usually burp it though and aim for center mass. I never just lay on the trigger.

The recoil of an MG is it's in game draw back, remove that and it becomes way too deadly. I find it extremely easy to work with already.

The Maximus is designed to be accurate. You can equip a scope and have better long range accuracy than any other MG. The Chinzor is designed to be stable. You cannot equip a scope, so it lacks long range accuracy, but has stable full auto. The chaingun is designed to have a high ammo capacity magazine.

With the Maximus you can easily hit a target at long range in comparison to the others, but have less controll when firiing on full auto. You are supposed to use burst fire at long range. It is in practice the best at long range, but worse at close ranges due to recoil. The Chinzor is the opposite- you can't hit anything at long range with the Chinzor, but it's stability makes it easy to hit the target on full auto, making it better for close ranges.

F.Y.I., there is somethign to help with the recoil on a Maximus. It is called a muzzle break.

Hm... it would be interesting having a tripod attachment for the maximus, and maybe for the chinzor... just have it slightly improve stability when crouching or something.
