i am wondering if there gonna put a 3rd person option because to customize a unique character is kinda pointless if you cant enjoy watching ur special character killing others <_<

It's an upgrade called Sense Of Perspective (I think). You have a 3rd person viewpoint while hacking computers, planting bomb, etc; but only when you choose that upgrade. Ask H0rse, he'll know.

it's a fps, not a third person shooter

ya i know that im not stupid i was just hopeing for a option so i could really enjoy my character

you'll have enough chance to enjoy your character, you'll see him in the menu's, and when you get the sense of perspective ability you'll see your char every time he's doing an objective

Yeah, I think this would just be too much work and would cause a delay, so right now no we dont know if there is, but its extremely unlikely there will be

I played 3rd person on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, very hard game mode to play when you have people that know what they are doing. That is why they had 3rd person tactical, it made you use more team work since you can not really overwhelm an enemy since it was 4 on 4 and that they can look around corners to see if you are coming or not so more patients and strategies are employed when you play that game mode.... Unless you go on rust. And I was thinking how much more fun it would be if you would be able to go to third person on here because of all the other things you can do. Like climb up to unusual spots and start mowing people down.

Trust me the dev's have considered this but its still going to be first person and I haven't heard about a 3rd person mode. They have already mentioned sense of perspective, and the fact that every time your not in your characters avatar will be on screen. There is also the time before the game where your character is standing with the rest of the team looking badass and stuff.

I would not care for third person one bit. And the game shouldn't be played in third person. I would've said "Hey, it can't hurt to add the mode so people who for some reason like it can try it", but then again I really wouldn't want devs to use resources on that. A community made mod is your best bet, but the game would just not be that good in third person probably.

People should really do forum searches before making new posts.

Nah. It's cooler in 1st Person. That way it makes it feel as if your the one doing it

very true but really its a personal preference since some people like the feeling of first person and some of 3rd and some even both ^^ for example i bet 3rd person would be awesome when u parkoured but being a big buff guy running with a minigun i would like it first person since the aiming is friendlier. could be a "when Smart button is pushed down" you have 3rd person view and when not its first person for instence

Well if they incorporate the option to choose then that'd be good

but if they changed it for all the SMART actions then it would be annoying and camera changes would get jerky. Which could ruin gameplay.

That's the reason a friend of mine likes playing female characters. Who wants to stare at a guys ass the whole time?

true that i could get jerky if u make it pop out and in but if u make it a decent zoom out it might not be as annoying, and games are ment to getting used to whats the point of just copy pasting stuff

I think this game should be all about the fps experience. I don't think you would be able to use the S.M.A.R.T feature effectively in 3rd person view.

i dont know what your on. it just made it easier for campers to see where u are without exposing themselves

Seriously what skill is there in 3rd person mode if you can see round corners without exposing yourself. Sin must be a new player then xD
