So, what exactly is the rationale for not playing with my fr

Alright, so Brink has been released, and many of us are playing it. I am certainly enjoying any matches I can find without lag, and I hope that problem and the ludicrous texture fade in will be fixed promptly. However, by far the largest issue I have is the complete inability to play multiplayer with my friends. And no, I don't mean Co-Op, or private matches. I want to get some buddies, set up a team, and play Brink against others. I have been told the devs specifically chose not to include an option to allow me to do this.

My question is, why the hell not?

I can tell Brink is a very well-oiled team game, yet it does not allow me to bring said well-oiled team. I am stuck with a crapshoot of randoms, and playing on Xbox it is almost impossible to find a team with any decent teamwork. No we don't need 8 soldiers, or eight turrets. No your operative can's crack the safe, quit trying.

If I could bring my team, these problems would not be an issue.

As things are, they represent, in my eyes and those of my friends, a crippling flaw in an otherwise excellently designed multiplayer experience.

I would appreciate a response from a dev, or someone else of authority.

Seriously, this is a huge oversight in my opinion. A heavily team coordination based game where they intentionally make it super hard to get into games with your friends/team? That makes absolutely no sense. I love this game so far and if I could get into games with my friends I would be good to go.. :/
