I'm thrilled that they're fixing the lag.
I'm disappointed that there's no mention about the graphics though...

While it's mildly exciting they're just doing the job that they should have completed prior to release.

Nice! While this isnt an all in one fix, it is a step in the right direction. The lag is the main reason that a lot of people find this game unplayable, myself included. The rest of the issues, while still in need of patching, seam more like annoyances. Thanks for the info.

How is fixing a broken glitch a cool update? (See avatar pic for reaction to your post.)

It's cool because it actually makes the game playable. The console version of TF2 is pretty unplayable.

Valve REALLY dropped the ball on that. Microsoft was only part of the problem there.

well i guess i should of worded it better ^ ^;; and noo...not the hats, i think its agreed hats really wasnt a good idea to begin with :/ what i was trying to say was how tf2 on the PC seemed, i repeat, SEEMED to have more of a priority to Valve than the 360/PS3, there was alot of tweaks here and there to weapons and classes for the PC. whereas the console versions of the game was indeed unbalanced and filled with hackers due to lack of updates to it. i dont know about now though, i havnt really played tf2 in a few years

but how valve fixed major bugs on at least the PC an 360 versions (PS3 was neglected and i think its EA's fault) but only fixed the little and minor glitches for the PC but not for console versions. that was what i was trying to imply might happen to this game. of course i was only putting what i think. - - im usually wrong though :)

Okay, I don't mean to sound like a smart-ass, but by "next week" do they mean Sunday, or further in? I'd probably say further in (what kind of a [censored] am I? MS responding within probably less than 24 hours for the update!?).

Believe it or not, I thought the same would happen to me, but the graphics still feel like dipping my eyes in vomit every time I turn it on. Even if I sit far enough away for a lot of the murky details to get washed out, the atrocious aliasing is still incredibly obvious. This is the worst looking 360 game I've played in years. Maybe since launch! And that is no exaggeration. The biggest issues, I believe, are the unacceptable graphics and the lag. The lag will hopefully be fixed by this week and I pray they do something about the graphics. Graphics aren't the most important thing in a game, I get it. Spare me. For a 360 game, there is a standard for the basic quality one should expect from any game, not just a AAA title. I've played many games that aren't gorgeous -- and Brink doesn't have to blow my mind either -- but...come on, now. This is painfully low on the graphics scale. Lego Star Wars looks better.

Yeah I've got to agree. I'm used to the game looking like crap, but I still notice and hate it all the time. Of course things like lag should be fixed first, but I'd still like to know this would change. It looks great on the PC, and I would have a harder time selling this game if it looked that good.
