I recently purchased brink already knowing I will play the game on the lowest settings possible and quite honestly could care less if it looks "pretty". Anyways my laptop is has Vista 64bit, intel core 2 duo p9500 2.5ghz, 4gig of ram, and a Nvidia 9800 GT M. I've tried a ton of different video drivers and nothing works. I constantly get 10-15 fps. I literally turned everything off, even through console commands, and running it at 800x600 and still no luck. No matter what I have 10-15 fps. If anyone has any idea on what I could do to help please post it up. Thank you in advanced.

yea man pretty much the same here....we r just gonna have to wait for an update.
and if they cant fix it i want a fking refund.. this sux so bad i feel like i have bn robbed.

try 640x480 its ok we are in the same boat =D

Splash says they are going to fix this, they'd better, and quick.

yeah on there time wile most of us are in pain waiting for a update or people going crazy knowing they can max the game and crap happens :brokencomputer:

My brother had similar issues, and all it took for him was a processor upgrade. The game engine brink runs on is extremely demanding, and with the smart movement system I'm guessing that they didnt really optimize the maps for best performance.

no its odd tho my 1 core 2.1gz ati x3100 had a no start problem fixed it with 11.5 and hotfix works and it plays better then my dual 2.2
