Direct2Drive has provided wrong downloads

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 10:32 am

greets,

D2D EU BRINK site is no longer available , game doesnt exist there anymore. ( and i havent got my key yet )

the two downloads they provided me were : BRINK_EU_ddmf.zip 5.88GB and BRINK_NA_ddmf.zip that is 5.07GB

as u can see the NA is noted at BRINK_NA_ddmf.zip and that file is only for: "This product is only available for purchase in the United States and Canada." as their US site says
(reference:http://www.direct2drive.com/2/9744/product/Buy-BRINK-Download?hph)

the 5.88GB version though doesnt contain the English Version of the game.

so what to do to make sure steam will not reject my game and my key and make sure it installs the english version of the game ?

regards.

Basicly D2D has f00k3d us in the BhOLE and we won't be able to play Brink on launch, is my opinion, we'll just have to wait.

Even though they say we "WILL have a key and download soon" I still can't see it happening..

please this thread-title is not for bashing d2d or steam , its mostly for bathesda to see:

another thing is that on paypal they do not mention a purchase for the game brink they just say u have sent 39.95 to direct2drive ( no reason why )

bathesda has had this game for release fall 2010 and now its almost summer 2011 , the delay served nothing : they didnt work on simple stuff : provide us the option to choose what language we want the game for, instead they decided to charge extra money for their german, french, italian, spanish localization and then apply that as panacea to all europe ? what a joke.

its simple : what is your prefered language for your in game experience? a ) english b ) german, italian, french, spanish .
response input: english .
ty, here is the price for the game with your options : XYZ.
here is your download : link.
