Saving prob

Hi guys im having a problem saving geck plugin file it keeps coming up with invalid directory and wont let me save in my games or the steamapps - common files plz help.

You've got to save it in your Data folder for F:NV which can (generally) be found here (On Win7), C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\fallout new vegas\Data
