I started a new character for the patch, a NCR sniper, after finding rat slayer i have come across a very annoying bug, if i have rat slayer equipped but holstered and i zoom, i would have a large black line cutting horizontally through my screen. But, if a un-equip rat slayer while zooming i get this weird mutilated corpse that floats around, if i move forward(while still zooming), so does it, if i move backwards, so does it. this happened the worst while i was wearing NCR face wrap armor and had the 1st recon beret equipped, but also happens to a lesser degree with other armors. also, the weird floating corpse, never goes through objects, just gets smaller and smaller, it also moves at a faster pace than me.

if someone knows i solution i would be very appreciative! i have tried restarting the console and clearing the cache and i have no saves to roll back to.

only thing i can think of is use modded varmint till this gets fixed

no more bonus damage or x5 crit :cold: ? i never thought of using a modded varmint rifle instead though, thank you for your reply and i'll be sure to do that! :]

Well i dont have that issue. Also sporting rat slayer with new char post patch. All fine while holstered & zooming. But, i used to get similar glitch with one of the NCR armors. If i zoomed while wearing it also got such blakc line.

i would but i aint got patches so wouldnt work.maybe could try using perks to get varmint as good as ratslayer was until theres a fix for it
