Since downloading the most recent patch (1.3?) I keep hearing the ambient sound of crickets everywhere i go. Inside buildings, vaults, sewers, everywhere. It's made the game completely unplayable with sound. I have tried clearing the memory cache, re-installing the patch, and even deleting the game and re-installing it. Nothing has worked. I'm tempted to erase all of my saves, the patch, the game, and starting new, erasing my 120 hour played save. But i want some feedback before i do that.

I get the never ending Freeside sound when I exit freeside into the wasteland. I have to save the game, then quit, then reload and it goes away. Very annoying.

Just tried it without the new patch and that fixed it. So it's definitely the new patch. Something is causing sounds to loop until the game is shut off. For me its the crickets you hear at night that don't go away.
