Is there a quest for this vault or is it just a loot place with the armory inside? If it is quest related where do I get the quest?

There are a few quests related to it i think. One of them is given to you by the BoS.

I think someone in the sharecropper farms becuz i went to the bottom of the vault and did something with the computer terminal and it said quest complete but i didn't sign up 4 that quest.It was something about a water pump i think

If you went to vault 34 before going to the sharecroppers you will get part of the quest, but it is bugged. If you then go to the sharecroppers you will get the first part of the quest, but it will not update when you get to the destination.

With all the bugs in the game I would recommend only doing the BOS, Boomers, and some of the NCR before actually going to New Vegas Strip. If you do too much exploring before going to New Vegas you will find that several of the quests, including the main quest, gets bugged.

I've explored the entire map except for jacobstown and I haven't even been to the fort yet to retrieve the platinum chip how bugged out will I be? Where are the sharecroppers to trigger this quest?
