A thought on....

(I'm falling in love with my 'A thought on' series threads. )

So I was wondering, There's Vic, NVPD securitrons and so on. But one thing I dont get is, the securitrons we see in screenshots fighting you, why would the ones on The Strip be tough but fair officers, and yet in the Wastes, they seem to be willing to kill you, perhaps the wasteland Securitrons are frenzied by time or something and hostile to anything they see? (Ala the USAF robots you'd randomly encounter out in the D.C. Wasteland)

I think that if you piss off House or NVPD then they send their own kind of hitmen after you.
Specifically designed to bring people in to justice. Or just execute them on the spot.

Or they just want to be your friend, and hot lasery death is the closest the math gets to "hug."

that's what they were programmed for. In "civilisation" - polite, tough. In the "Wasteland" - shoot first, read your rights later.

Programming my good man, Programming.

The In Town Robots were programmed by Dudely Do-Right and the ones in the Wastes were programmed by Snidely Whiplash.

Personally I always found it funny when i'm exploring the wastes, and all of a sudden i'm getting lazored by a lowly securitron. If it continues in this game, I won't be disappointed! Desmond is never disappointed.
