I basically see the NCR as the house and the senate. Mob rule. Having power over the presidential (ya i know FO2 had a NCR pres but i did not think it had much of a sway) and judicial (maybe the rangers? Been drinking and it's been quite a while.)

Enclave was more Presidential in its power. The other powers where suppressed.

BOS was judicial? With the other powers super seeded?

Long and short. Been drinking and watching 6th Sense in the back round. The only position in the NCR machine would be a mayoral/senate seat in which to voices/complain constituent's demands that would be drowned admits the plethora of other voices. The NCR has become too fat, the voices unheard...start your own society...

I have a feeling in the end with NCR you'll be placed down in a desk job filing out wasteland complaints and slowly but surely boil into a white hot seething rage and mini nuke the office you reside in.

hopefully it wont be like Fallout 3 when they would just slap some armour on your back and send you on your way, also if their sending you on a mission you should have some men watching your back, like random NPCs follow you and watch your back if your raiding Caesar's Legion or something

Exactly. In FO3 I was a signed-up member of both the Brotherhood of Steel and Lyons Pride, why couldn't I go on missions with the Pride? Why didn't I have a BOS team with me when I was out collecting cameras and sensors? After all I did for them! the cheek! lol

Actually I'll always felt like the BoS signed me up so I could protect them, at least that's how the situtation always seemed to turn out being. :ahhh: :gun: :dead:

I'm very eager to discover how the NCR is operating. According to the Fallout Wiki, it is dedicated to restoring "old world values such as democracy, liberty, and the rule of law." This makes it sound perfect for my type of character. If working for the NCR makes me feel like a freedom fighter, I'll support them to the end. If it makes me feel like a government thug, and at worst like a tax collector, I'll rather go independent.

Where did you get that from? Isn't their problem that they're stretched too thin, with too few people to keep law and order?
