If the Courier has a relationship with Ulysess? : Fallout: New Vegas

Okay lots of people now think the Courier and Ulysess had a sixual relationship,what happens if your courier is male and isn't gay?.

But i personaly still think the Courier and Ulysess are old friends not lovers!

Lol I've never heard that one before. That would be ridiculous. They're old friends or work-related partners. Maybe something bigger, two heirs of one "empire", business or otherwise.

"Relationship" doesn't always mean that they had some sort of romantic or sixual relationship. Perhaps you misunderstood them. I have a relationship with the mailman for example. Does that mean I have six with the mailman? No. It means he delivers mail and I receive it. That's the nature of our relationship.

I'm so sorry if where you heard this actually said "sixual relationship" and this whole thing sounds like I'm talking down to you.

No i did not misunderstand them what im saying that many think and a source metioned to a games blog that Ulysess has a relationship with the character,im simply saying if its a sixual one what happens if your courier isn't gay,if you get my drift.

Yeah, I understand now. But I wouldn't worry about it. There are distinct perks that make it so your character can identify as gay or straight, and you can take both and be Bi or just be extremely good at manipulation. The point is, if the game itself gives you the choice to differentiate then it is unlikely that they'd do this.

on a more serious note, i would think it would be a bit more emotionally moving to have ulysses as an old friend, and perhaps a tale which lead to betrayal?

The perk is a perk because it has bonuses with dialogue. You don't need it for you to consider your character gay, but it will add dialogue that supports it and some of the dialogue ends in favorable outcomes (like free repair services).

Anywho,I agree with Taco though, I have this thought of Ulysses being an old friend, possibly from childhood. Sort of like how Butch keeps coming in and out of your life in F3, it seems almost fated that you and Butch become friends despite his picking on you.

Ulysess is probably either an old friend or a rival. The one thing that bothers me is why did he cancel and allow the courier to make that delivery. It kinda makes you think that Ulysess was in on Benny trying to kill you but then backed out for some reason maybe he had a bad vibe about Benny.

You liked that? I really thought the whole Butch/Wanderer relationship was one of the coolest aspects of FO3. I rarely play FO3 without him as a companion. Most people on the forums seem to despise him though.

Anyway, does anyone think Ulysses might become a companion? He was planned to be one before they scratched him out of the game, but now that his role is different I'm not sure if you'll still be able to recruit him. Hope so.

Nice, I had the exact same combination xD Me wearing the Winterized version because of nearly unlimited Armor HP, and Butch wearing the regular version + sporting the Lincoln's Repeater.
