Do I really need to empty my cache now?

So, Bethesda, you are telling us that we should decline the last update because it's buggy, that's fine but what about those who downloaded it and played the game after?

Will the next patch fix those issues whitout the need of emptying my cache? I really don't feel like clearing my whole cache just because of one buggy game...

If you loaded the bugged patch clearing your cache won't fix the issue. To get rid of the update you have to go to memory settings and delete the title update, but that won't fix the issue either. If only this were a clear your cache issue.

There was an issue with the update that went up on LIVE. Since then, we've worked with Microsoft to resolve the problem. Once the new update is released (the update for English versions should go up tonight), the game save issue should be resolved

Until that update is up, so long as the game isn't locking up on you, you should be able to continue playing if you follow http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1183820-recent-game-update-to-new-vegas/page__view__findpost__p__17570614.
