Right near the beginning of the game, as I go down into the trapdoor in the cultists manor, the game crashes out. with the error cocmain32.exe has stopped working. I am running Vista, so I don't know if this is a compatibility issue or what. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I really want to play the game.

Are you running a multiple core machine? If so, try disabling all but core 0 (Ctrl Alt Del when you load the game, Processes, CoCMain32.exe, Change Affinity).

I have the same problem, changing affinity does not help.

Hi,I stumbled across this forum because I had exactly the same problem, but I seemed to have found a solution that works for me. Instead of 8x anti-aliasing, I knocked it back down to 2x and I don't crash anymore upon going to the trapdoor. If your AA setting is the same as mine was, then maybe that's the cause of the problem for you too. Best of luck!(PS. I have compatibility settings on too just to be safe, but this wasn't the cause of the crashing problem; for me anyway. CPU affinity is unchanged. Hey, I don't think this is much of a problem and it's only happened this once but i finally crashed CoC. It's when Jack falls into Robert Marsh's office; as Marsh choked me i thought I'd be done for but then *BAM!* it crashed. I think I may have had a few bugs running around in my laptop at the time but is this crash common?
