Spoiler warning!!

So I helped Cass out (cause shes so cooool! >,<) and got revenge on the vangruff people. Im trying to maintain a semi-good character, but why is it that everything in the place is still marked in red? The whole thing to this was to get revenge and loot the place clean! Yet if I take that much stuff, that is an insane amount of bad karma i'll be getting in the process from "stealing" from the dead people. I can loot the bodies just fine, so it makes no sense that I wouldnt be able to loot the place.

Anyone know how I can get around this??

The karma hit from stealing is very minimal. I always steal anything I want and I'm still a Saint of the Wastelands or whatever.

Ok, if you say so... cause that place has like 100 things to loot, it'll take me a few trips to a few different venders for all the stuff.

Karma means absolutely nothing in this game. Reputation is far more important.
