As I understood it, it will pre-download starting some point the day before, and once it hits midnight, it will finish downloading and activate and you can play! Huzzah!

It just so happens to come out the week AFTER my first back of mid terms and a week BEFORE my 2nd. So its right in the middle of hell. Both a blessing and a curse - give me a much needed break, but also distract me for my other mid terms.

Yeah I meant the Steam version. It should start downloading automatically - but you might have to click start or ok or something to make it go. Not too sure actually how it works.

I'm pretty sure Steam only automatically downloads updates to games you already have installed. You'll probably have to manually start it.

I sure would love to get this game next week when it comes out. Too bad I picked up Mafia II 3 weeks ago and I just cant justify spending another $50 on another game so soon. So I will be on the bandwagon to wait unless frys throws it on sale that friday for $19.99 like they did with Orange Box when it came out.

There are dudes you can pay to knock you out, bring the nine iron and extra money for them to haul you home and profit! Although they might also rob your house....maybe it would just be better to wait.

I don't start freaking out about a game until about a week left, since it's reached that point I'm getting pretty hyped.

Why is it that I am 35 with a wife and two kids and I still can't wait for next Tuesday, it is not like I have nothing else to do. Looks like it will be late night gaming for a while, nothing like a dark house and good headphones to scare the bejesus out of you.. Thank you Fallout for the reavers that come out of nowhere and nearly knock me out of my chair.
